Refúgio Aboim Ascensão is a Personal Christian Social Solidarity Institution founded in 1933 in Faro.
The "Emergência Infantil" project was born in August 1988 as a concrete response to the need for early (0-6 years), temporary and interdisciplinary care for children at risk or already victims. Thus was created the first emergency reception center in Portugal, for 95 babies and other little ones.
Since 1999, Refúgio has been treated as a Social Security Organization in terms of adoption, participating in the definition of each child's life project (Diário da Republica no. 1021/98 of December 9).
Emergencia Infantil" is a work carried out day and night, every day and night of the year, by women and men who believe in a fundamental right of the Child: "The right to have a lap!", while they don't have a Family!
The transmission of personal data to third parties is only possible if you consent to it. You can obtain a receipt for your donation during the exchange process on the my MEO App or by calling 16200 up to 3 months after the MEOS exchange.
Note: Some institutions covered by the MEOS Program only issue receipts once a year, before the IRS submission period where these receipts can be declared.
