LG offers a “Lifetime Warranty” (30 years) on specific components of its appliances: the washing machine motor, refrigerator compressor, dishwasher motor, dryer motor and compressor, and microwave magnetron. The Lifetime Warranty covers a total period of 30 years, consisting of a 3-year statutory warranty and an additional 27-year commercial warranty. The warranty covers only the cost of the part and does not include labor, service calls, or other associated charges. The 30-year period exceeds the estimated average useful life of the products, according to a study conducted by an independent third party in which LGE did not participate. The remaining terms of the commercial warranty (except for the duration) are those set forth in section 5 of the warranty card for the respective appliance, available in the Warranty Terms and Conditions.
